On November 14-16, OBG participated in the 2016 Annual Environment Conference, held by The Business Council of New York State in Saratoga Springs, NY. This two-day event brings together experts from the private and public sectors to share the latest information relevant to environmental issues in New York State. OBG experts George Rest, PE, Steven Eckler, and Neil Webb participated in panel discussions on ever-changing state environmental programs and policies.

As construction continues on the Marcy Nanocenter site in support of the ams AG facility, the efforts to reduce time-to-market and increase site marketability appear to have succeeded. But the positive outcome understates the extensive coordination and negotiation required to navigate the federal wetland permitting process. In this presentation, Steven Eckler, a permit specialist with OBG, relates the experience including challenges and solutions.
