Awarded $2.9M facility condition assessment program with U.S. Army Corps of EngineersOBG News,
O’Brien & Gere was recently awarded a task order valued at $2.9 million under its contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Mobile District to provide architecture and engineering (A-E) services at 63rd Regional Support Command (RSC) facilities located throughout the southwest. The Company will support this project with more than 50 employees from 12 office locations.
At each facility, O’Brien & Gere will perform inventories of property plant equipment to prepare service and preventative maintenance contracts. The Company will inventory approximately 137 locations, including more than 540 buildings and 9.5 million square feet of space. The project’s second phase will involve importing data into the General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) for each location.
This contract represents O’Brien & Gere’s continued support of the Department of Defense and position as a key A-E service provider to the federal market and expert in facility condition assessments. The Company serves multiple USACE Districts, including Charleston, Chicago, Kansas City, Louisville, Mobile, New York, Norfolk, Philadelphia, and Savannah.
