OBG receives client award for energy planning at the University at AlbanyOBG News,
An OBG team of energy experts recently received a client award for their development of an energy master plan for the University at Albany, a State University of New York (SUNY) campus. The comprehensive plan addresses SUNY and University energy goals, as well as the goals of BuildSmart NY’s Executive Order 88, which mandates a 20% improvement in the energy efficiency performance of New York State government buildings by 2020.
OBG’s strategic plan provides a 10-year roadmap for projects at the campus that will reduce energy usage, increase energy efficiency, incorporate energy resiliency, and decrease operating costs for the university.
“The OBG team is willing to listen to our needs to do whatever it takes to ensure that our needs are met. We appreciate their technical expertise, timely response, and dedication to the project. They have become a part of the university energy team.” – Indu Lnu, University at Albany Energy Officer
