Laboratory addition and renovation

Under an Indefinite Delivery Contract for Title I A-E Services at McGuire AFB, O’Brien & Gere completed several Task Orders demonstrating experience in facility sustainment, restoration, and modernization including an Addition and Repair Program for the base’s Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL). The project consisted of two main tasks:

First Task:
Addition design (approximately 2,950 ft squared) to the building on the east side, including a drive through main entrance area with overhead canopy. The addition space usage was converted to a receiving area with bathrooms and a mechanical room.

Second Task:
Renovation designs to the existing building floor plan. The renovations consisted of rearranging the spaces to increase the calibration laboratory-type floor space. This involved converting the existing break room, restrooms, locker rooms, and receiving area into laboratory environments.
